A small service was held at Derwent Reservoir today to mark the Dambusters
raid. This lake was used for the practice runs because of its twin towers
and... well I'm sure you've all seen the film.

When I saw your address I thought that you might
have had a connection with Les Knight's, or
Mick Martin's crews, then one of the other crews.
But no.
I can only assume you must have some
connection to British nobility namely
Air Vice-Marshal the Hon. R A Cochrane.

A survivor of Les Knights crew F/Sgt.
R Kellow spent the rest of his life in my
fair city, Winnipeg Canada. Sadly he died
before I found that out. I have his very good book
in my library.
